The Maple Syrup is a liquid produced from maple tree sap . Maple big trees
store starch in winter season , that is next
developed to sugar in springtime . It is developed by tapping the
maple trees, which release sap from the trunk area . At this moment, the sap is
clean and lack of sugar & taste. This sap is later boiled to produce Maple
Syrup's quality color, flavour and also rich sugar material .
Actual maple syrup
will never include high fructose corn syrup . Genuine maple syrup would not
include unnatural flavors . Real maple syrup will not include additives . Right
now there are not any replacement for real maple syrup . Exactly why ? Simply
because real maple syrup is all-natural , made by boiling sap from a maple
shrub to get the sugar . We are doing this process for many of years here in
the Rhode Island . Not just maple syrup taste much better than other sweeteners
but a recent study shows there are much possible health advantages to maple
syrup, because it has actually been identified to include components with
anti-oxident & anti-inflammatory characteristics .
Maple
Syrup grading is dependent on the thickness and color USDA provides 2 grades
, Grade A with 3 subdivisions & Grade B. if there is deeper the color there will be richer the
taste . Grade B Maple Syrup is quite dark which is usually used for cooking
food and also baking . In the United States, the syrup needs to be created
almost entirely of maple sap . Real Maple Syrups include a lot of imitators for
example pancake & waffle syrups which are created using synthetic flavoring
and identified as "maple flavored".
Our Rhode Island Maple Syrup is
created in small batches with unique attention to be sure you recieve the
finest quality products . We create our maple syrup by boiling the maple sap
stored from maple shrubs . We accumulate this sap in springtime in March &
April once the temperature goes up above
very cold to let the sap to stream and night time temp falls below freezing ,
"charging" the shrubs for the next morning .
This narrow range
of 6-8 weeks is while the wonder occurs at our sugar shack , and then our maple
syrup reserves are restored therefore we are able to provide the best real
Vermont maple syrup all of the year long . We taste each and every batch to
ensure that it matches our exacting conditions .
